We run parenting courses from time to time. Our upcoming course Raising Faith starts in September.
Raising Faith
A course from Care for the Family
Those of us who are Christian parents, grandparents and carers want our children/grandchildren to grow up knowing God and developing a mature faith that will last. Many of us feel we should be doing more to nurture our children's faith, but sometimes we feel ill-equipped or just too busy to do much more than get them to church on a Sunday. But we are our children's greatest influencers and we can have a huge impact on their faith journey. It's not about adding a list of extra activities to organise, but about
using the opportunities that come up in the everyday ups and downs of family life.
The course covers:
Building faith through everyday life
Creating the right environment to nurture faith
Making your faith visible
Different ways we connect with God
Doubts and questions
Belonging in the church
Thursdays - 7.30 - 9.30pm, starting 17th September for 6 weeks.
