14-2-17 Café is a weekly café.

The aim is to give young people of 14 to 17 years age a place to go to relax. Activities include Wii computer games using our big screen, table-top games, table tennis and table football. 14-2-17 Café is run in partnership with the local police.

There are refreshments at minimum cost such as fairtrade chocolate bars, crisps, drinks and milkshakes.

Various activities are also on offer from time to time (and can also be requested) e.g. Doodle Discussions, Pizza/Toasty making (and other food based activities), Music Nights, Sporting Competitions (e.g. Table Tennis), Help with GCSE subjects etc. Ideas and suggestions from young people are encouraged.

During 2010 we will introduce special 'project nights' where young people will have the opportunity to develop life skills e.g. Bike Maintenance, Design & Build Activities (e.g. Green Greenhouse, Wind Generator, etc.). CV and Interview assistance are also available all the time.
