Who are we?
Peachcroft Christian Centre consists of a wide range of different people, from all ages and different backgrounds. Whoever you are, you are assured a very warm welcome at Peachcroft Christian Centre, Abingdon.

When to arrive: If it's your first visit then it's probably best to turn up around 9.50am. If you are driving then you'll be pleased to hear that there is plenty of free parking. You'll be greeted on the door by our welcoming team who will give you some information about the church and notices of forthcoming events. How to find us: Click here for our 'Travel' page. What to wear: Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We are an informal church and accept people as they are. There is no need to dress up. What to expect: For some people going anywhere for the first time can be a bit of a nerve-racking experience.

New Church Opening Day

To help avoid any worries here's a quick summary of what you can expect at Peachcroft Christian Centre. First of all we aren't super-spiritual beings: we all had a 'first day' at church. You'll find we are a friendly bunch and if you don't understand something please simply ask. We start our meeting at 10.00am: see our 'Services' page. Our worship time consists of mostly modern with some traditional songs (accompanied by a music group with a wide variety of instruments and a keyboard), a Bible reading, prayer and a talk that is relevant and meaningful to our modern lives. We also run a crèche for the little ones. We do not pass round a plate for a collection of money during the service. There is a box in the foyer for this purpose if anyone wishes to give but it is not expected. We finish our meeting at around 11.25am, with tea and coffee. On the first Sunday of the month we begin at 10.00am with tea/coffee/juice and doughnuts etc. In addition, on the first Sunday of the month there is an informal praise service at 7.00pm. Our aim is that whether you are just looking into Christianity for the first time or have been a Christian for many years you should be encouraged and inspired by your visit.
