Peachcroft Christian Centre is led by a team, called the Church Council, comprising nine elected church members and Peter our minister. Their job is to pray for, seek and implement God's direction for the church. The council meets once a month for this purpose. Additionally it has a prayer meeting once a month in preparation for the council meetings. Every three months the church members meet to share news, vision and direction. This allows for discussion and for the council to receive direct feedback from members. There is also an annual general meeting. Peachcroft Christian Centre is officially recognised by the Baptist Union, the Church of England, the Methodist Church and the United Reformed Church. All representations between the Centre and those denominations take place through the Joint Council upon which representatives of those denominations and members of the Church sit.
The Worship Group reports to the Church Council. |
