Our Beliefs

If you are wondering where we are in theological terms - we don't like to be labelled, but most of us would admit to being broadly evangelical and charismatic with a heart for mission by serving our neighbours in practical and meaningful ways. The Bible is important to us and we try to apply and live the teachings of Jesus. We also seek the living presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives individually and when we meet together.

We believe God is real and powerful and is reaching out to every one of us. He demonstrated his love for us amazingly in Jesus. Jesus experienced the worst that could be thrown at anybody and he knows about our needs. We believe that in dying and rising for us, Jesus has made it possible for us to know God personally and live in a close relationship with God. We believe each of us can discover God's wonderful plan and purpose for our lives.

Are we a church? Yes! Peachcroft Christian Centre (PCC) represents the four largest denominations in England - Baptist , Church of England , Methodist and United Reformed, although we clearly have our own character as a church. We have had a building on Peachcroft since 1987 and our new building will be plenty big enough for weddings, funerals and baptisms that can all be arranged at PCC.
