Pamela Shirras was licensed as Assistant Minister (non-stipendiary) in December 2009 by Bishop of Reading, Stephen Cottrell. Pamela and her husband, Eddie, had served in five CofE parishes over 45 years, most recently in Marcham.


Wider interests have included involvement in Spring Harvest, Soul Survivor and Wycliffe Hall, Oxford.

As well as sharing in the preaching ministry and leading worship on Sundays, Pamela has a concern for people and welcoming and integrating newcomers into our church life. Pamela has led Alpha courses in previous churches since its introduction in 1994 and is looking forward to developing 'Alpha at Peachcroft'.
